Uni
I go to Sheffield Hallam University. I'm just going in to my third year there. I'm just starting my second year of Law, because I've already done a year of IT before I transferred over to law.Loving uni, next year is going to be even harder and to make it worse, it's the first year the work I do will count towards my degree classification! Not good! I've had a funny time at University. I started off doing an Extended Degree Program in IT, then was asked to do a B.A. (Hons) Business Studies course, but because my course leader knew I wanted to become a solicitor, he talked me in to emailing the admissions tutor for law. Long story short, he remembered my name from two years ago when I asked him about law and found a loop hole in the current rules and offered me a place on the LLB course, even though it was already full. Not much to say about the Uni really, so I'll just explain what modules I'm taking. (C) for a Core Module, (E) for an Elective Module.Extended Degree Program - Computing and ITQuantitative Computing (C)Computer Systemss (C)IT Applications (C)Programming (C)Personal and Academic Development (C)Introduction to Business and Technology (C)L.L.B. (Hons) LawFirst year:Constitutional Law (C)Law of Contract (C)Comparative Law (E)English Legal System (C)Law, the Internet and Society (C)Law and Contemporary Society (C)Second year: Mooting (E) Company Law (E) Equity and Trusts (C) EU Law (C) Criminal Law (C) Law of Torts (C)Obviously all these modules are making me a pretty clever potential lawyer! Well, they better be. I'm working my backside off.
